The Vib-less CI (Component Isolation) system is a standalone version of our isolating footing system. You simply add it to your arrangement and whatever component you wish to isolate from undesirable vibrations. It doesn’t require any special tools or skills to set up. The LUCIDIC Vib-less CI system design principle is very similar to the system implemented in our Sapeli Vib-less Platforms. The difference lays in the bearing ball placement position, which is reversed with regard to the position of the ball in the platform unit. Here, the ball is placed underneath the cylinder in the inward center tapered corpus thus allowing for safe placement of your component on top of the Vib-less support unit.
The key to the performance success of the Vib-less unit is the self-leveling cylinder atop the bearing ball, supported by the damping properties of the O-rings. The design drastically and very effectively minimizes kinetic energy vertical movement by minimizing the points of contact. The position of the ball in the center tapered corpus floor allows for superior control and resistance of the horizontal energy movement. The supports have an adjustable base, which allows for full level control.
The Achilles’ heel of the classic “Spike” supports is the apparent and complete inability dampen/soften the effect of any horizontal plane energy waves. Please note that in our flagship Sapeli Vib-less Platforms we’ve added small magnets in part to enhance the platforms ability to control the horizontal wave energy.
